Goodnight Punpun

Review: Goodnight Punpun is a nice manga about the struggles of Punpun's life and his unrequited love interest Aiko, whom alludes him for many many years. In the meantime, PunPun suffers various hardships including his family and with himself, I particularly enjoyed the various times he masturbated, in his room, another in the 3rd volume, where he does so in a public park in the rain, that was fun. As someone who struggles with empathy I don't see this manga as particularly "soul crushing", despite how many others describe it as, maybe its just me. It is a sad manga, one is inclined to empathize with Punpun, as he doesn't have an easy life. I enjoy how Punpun is sort of a blank slate, he doesn't speak much, he's a pushover. He's more of an observer than a person.

Review: I am only on the 4th volume of 10, so I cant say much on the overall quality of the manga. I enjoy the concept! I thought the part where the main character raped a high school and that seemingly fixed all her problems was wierd I dont imagine it works like that in real life.

Review: Despite only reading the first four volumes of the manga, I've watched the 1st and im in the process of watching the 2nd season. I've enjoyed this series very much! I think the sections in each layer couldve been longer, they travel a little too quickly, I this this is most obvious in the 3rd layer. I dont really care for the travelers that are along Vueko, they arent moe anime girls so they have no bearing on my mind.
